Sept. 20, 2014 - Hoodstock Sets New Record in 11th Year

More than 360 people, including friends and staff of Unified Community Connections and individuals we serve, enjoyed wonderful bands and food on September 20 for Hoodstock XI at its new venue, the exciting American Visionary Art Museum.  All of the bands performing have some relationship to Unified Community Connections, whether it's a board member, parent, family member or friend.  Event chair and musician Russ Causey explained that eleven years ago this event started in his backyard in Otterbein with 30 people and raised $1,200.  This year's Hoodstock raised more than $70,000, setting a new record!
